Spain: Vitoria Gasteiz, Basque Country
For this LEAD-PV project, we looked at arable crops in the climate of northern Spain. A massive 8 hectares site could add 4.4 MWp of installed capacity, according to current designs.
Financing for the project has been arranged through an SPV, and grid connection has already been obtained. Designs and permits are moving through the approvals process, towards an expected operational date in Q2 2026.

Germany: Baden-Württemberg
On this 1.88 hectares site plans are in place to add 0.8 MWp of capacity via a LEAD-PV project. It hosts yearly seminars, right before harvest, with eminent speakers from the worlds of agriculture and solar power.
Two Agri-PV applications, 1P and 2P tracker, will be compared with each other on the site and the electricity will be self-consumed by a university, presumably via direct wire.
Italy: Civitavecchia, Lazio
A 2 hectares LEAD-PV project could see 0.8 MWp of solar capacity added to a thriving agricultural operation. After a change of proposed site, final project designs are in development right now. We’re accounting for extra possibilities like bees breeding or sheep grazing on the site.
Permitting for this project is expected to wrap up Q4 2025. Construction should begin late 2026, to begin operation Q2 2027.
